Izac's flower on a branch sketch:
ReplyDeleteThe most noticeable part of this piece was definitely the large center flower that brings in the most attention, however the detailed and pretty little leaves are soon realized with the branch they sprout from. My first thought was that this resembles closely in style many scientific illustrations made in the field and captures the same adventurous energy. I greatly enjoy how this flower is both anatomically correct, and pleasing to the eyes in composition.
Ava-
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of the shrub drawing, it's not too overcrowded. I also like the style of the small flowers. The colors are also a good fit to the artwork.
Eliza-
ReplyDeleteI see that your flower has a lot detail in its flower buds. There are a lot of buds on the plant it looks to be a lavender plant. Your artwork makes me feel alive and well.
-Paul
Colin-
ReplyDeleteI like how you shaded the flowers to show detail on its structure. -Logan
Ryan-
ReplyDeleteI like the way that you made the to back flowers look farther away and the two ones in the front look close up. -Caitlin
