  1. Izac's flower on a branch sketch:
    The most noticeable part of this piece was definitely the large center flower that brings in the most attention, however the detailed and pretty little leaves are soon realized with the branch they sprout from. My first thought was that this resembles closely in style many scientific illustrations made in the field and captures the same adventurous energy. I greatly enjoy how this flower is both anatomically correct, and pleasing to the eyes in composition.

    I like the simplicity of the shrub drawing, it's not too overcrowded. I also like the style of the small flowers. The colors are also a good fit to the artwork.

    I see that your flower has a lot detail in its flower buds. There are a lot of buds on the plant it looks to be a lavender plant. Your artwork makes me feel alive and well.
