  • College Board requires that AP Art and Design students complete a "Sustained Investigation" and produce several artworks, which Greta submitted to College Board for assessment.
  • Greta choose a topic for her "Sustained Investigation", something meaningful and important to her.
She asked the following question, which She explored in her artwork.
What qualities of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and benefits of medicinal marijuana can I visually communicate through my work?

Here are some examples of artwork Greta submitted to College Board
Self-Portrait

Greta also took an Independent Study in Art at SA this year.
Here are 3 examples her work. Greta explored expressive portraiture and figure rendering of the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

  2. Greta, these are beautiful! I don't know the technical art terms but I particularly like when you have subject drawn realistically and the background is more abstract. You were really able to communicate the topics you were exploring. Congratulations!
