Maggie's imagine rock:
ReplyDeleteI see a dark night blue with contrasting white starts against it that form a constellation of stars, then the word "imagine" in a bold contrasting red. what I first feel and think about this piece is of space, somewhere that is so unexplored that all we can do is imagine it. I really like the idea, and the contrasting yet complimentary colors used.
Greta's rock that wants a vibe check:
what I see first is a stark yellow that stands out from the rock, then very quickly black lining that creates the form of a distorted face. the thing this piece reminded me of is 'it's time for your vibe check sir', as it resembles that same terrifying face. What I liked most about this piece is that although it is in a more abstract style it keeps the general form of the human face.
I love this set of sedimentary sentiments!
ReplyDeleteAidan-
ReplyDeleteI love the bright, eye-catching yellow you chose for your kindness rock. I also enjoy the pun found in it, it helps bring light in the uncertainty of these times.
Chris-
ReplyDeleteI like the way your smiley face turned out, it makes me feel happy.
Paul-
